Kryptonite Discovered!
Running Free
A friend of mine sent this to me. I had never heard of “free running” or “parkour, the art of displacement,” but it looks like fun, and quite challenging.
Here’s a French spoof on it.
Cat Herding
It’s been around awhile, but I think it’s a funny video.
Having five kids who all think they are the leaders of the family, is a lot like herding cats. Gives me some insight into the days of my sweet wife.
Here’s my paraphrased version for my wife:
“Being a mom, it ain’t easy.”
“Anybody can have a child, but holdin’ together 5 leaders, that’s a whole ‘nother thing altogether.”
“Bein’ a mom of my 5 wonderful kids . . . that’s about the toughest thing I’ve ever done.”
“You see the movies, you hear the stories . . . it’s . . . I’m livin’ a dream.”
“Not everyone can do what I do.”
“I wouldn’t do nothin’ else.”
“It ain’t an easy job, but when you get to the end of the day, and I ain’t lost a one of ’em, ain’t a feelin’ like it in the world.”
My hat’s off to my wife, every single day! I love you, honey!
Let it Be
This one had me rolling on the floor. It’s a Soviet version of the Beatles song, “Let it Be.” Apparently it is from a 70’s era Soviet musical.
And just for the record, “Let it Be” in Russian has been translated “Budyet Tak.”
Love & Fear
I once had a discussion about Fear and Love with a friend of mine. It seems fitting that the song is by U2 as well. Enjoy.
Wind in the Wheat
Another thing that makes me happy – Time to peacefully listen to soothing guitar music.
Wind in the Wheat by Phil Keaggy.
Happy Birthday, sis!
I’m glad we were born into the same family! Thanks, for always challenging me to be better!
I hope it’s a good day for you!
Big Horse – Dumb Announcer
I knew that people in front of the camera could be stupid, but this has got to be some sort of record!
Book 1.0 HelpDesk
I found it again, enjoy!
Heart to God
Some say he’s the best guitarist in the world. I love to watch him play. I was able to see him play in a small church in Dublin. It’s great fun, and I love this song.
Phil Keaggy (Salvation Army Band). This video can’t be played from this site. Click here to watch it on YouTube.
Salvation Army Band – Phil Keaggy
Grace – gracious love
Reaching out to take me as I am,
Accepting – expecting I will do the best I can
Caring – you cover me, clothed in Your own righteousness I am
Exactly – What You’ve made me, by grace I have found favor in the Lamb
Cover me – cover me – cover me.
Mercy – made free to me
Eternal life, a gift that has no end.
Receiving – believing in the mercy You extend.
Cover me – you cover me, clothed in Your own righteousness I stand
Your mercy – has made me a part of Your salvation army band.
Heart to God, Hand to Man
